'Battleheart 2' Progress Continues, Seven of the Game's Heros Have Been Revealed So Far

Developer Mika Mobile dropped a big ol' bombshell on the world back in September of 2016 when they announced Battleheart 2, a long-desired sequel to one of the most beloved mobile games of all time. Of course we had the incredible Battleheart Legacy [$4.99] too, which came a little over three years after the original Battleheart [$2.99], but that game–while still outstanding–was quite a departure from the first game in many ways and served more as a spinoff. Battleheart 2 will be a true sequel to the original game with multi-character party combat using the ingenious line-drawing mechanics that Mika Mobile pioneered all those years ago, but while carrying over many of the interesting things about Battleheart Legacy into the fold too. Basically, it's shaping up to be the ultimate Battleheart experience, which I'm unfathomably excited for...

First Footage of 'Battleheart 2' Shown Off in New Hero Spotlight Video

Games don't get much more classic than Mika Mobile's Battleheart [$2.99]. Launching just short of 7(!) years ago, Battleheart was one of the few mobile games that seemed to delight gamers of all types and its ingenious line-drawing battling system became one of the most copied mechanics in the years that followed. Mika's Battleheart Legacy [$4.99] arrived in May of 2014 and gave a different spin on the formula, but as wonderful as that game was many fans have been clamoring for a true sequel to the original Battleheart. Mika answered the call of fans in September of 2016 when they officially announced Battleheart 2 with a revamped art style and an emphasis on cooperative multiplayer. As with anything Mika does they're taking as much time as it takes to get Battlheart 2 just right, and the last major update we got on its development was this past July. Now today Mika has posted a new blog entry which highlights the character Natsuko and the abilities she'll have in Battleheart 2, and it also gives us the first glimpse of the game in action...

Mika Mobile Gives Us a 'Battleheart 2' Progress Update

A little over 9 months ago, Mika Mobile announced that they had begun production on Battleheart 2, a long-awaited sequel to their 2011 genre-defining hit Battleheart [$2.99]. The original Battleheart introduced the oft-copied line-drawing party movement and battling systems, and its 2014 spinoff Battleheart Legacy [$4.99] took the series into 3D and added so many RPG systems it created basically an infinitely replayable adventure, though it was a bit of a departure from the first game. Battleheart 2 looks to go back to the core concepts of the original while also adding the best elements of Legacy to create the ultimate Battleheart experience. Today Mika updated their blog with where Battleheart 2 is at at this point in its development. ..

Mika Mobile Developing 'Battleheart 2' with Co-Op Multiplayer

Mika Mobile has just announced their newest game, and it's a doozy: Battleheart 2. The studio's 2011 RPG Battleheart [$2.99] was beloved as an incredibly fun game at the time, and a spinoff, Battleheart Legacy [$4.99], was similarly received. Now, Mika Mobile is returning to expand on one of their first big hits. It's going to look better than ever, but there's one really cool new feature in the works: co-op multiplayer. After Zombieville 2 [$0.99] featured it, the plan is for Battleheart 2 to have co-op multiplayer for up to 4 people, where you nominate individiaul characters into a communal party to go on a raid. Sounds like fun!..
